Just because Ruth’s Chris Steak House is serious about steaks doesn’t mean the restaurant loses sight of other aspects of an exceptional dining experience.

At Ruth’s Chris Steak House, we know that a great drink and dinner pairing transforms a meal into something you’ll talk about for weeks.

As we head towards summer, Ruth’s Chris wants to showcase the power of finding the right match between world-class spirits and exquisite bites. On June 4th and 11th at select Ruth’s Chris restaurants, we invite you to join us for one of our most anticipated TasteMaker dinner series of 2026: The Tequila Ocho Tequila Dinner

This event will offer an exciting combination of expertly crafted cocktails featuring Tequila Ocho, one of the most revered brands in the world of tequila, paired with an incredible selection of expertly prepared dishes from Ruth’s Chris Steak House.

Why Tequila Ocho?

Known for its craftsmanship and deep roots in traditional tequila production, Tequila Ocho is a true pioneer heralding from Jalisco in Western Mexico. While many producers aim for a uniform flavor profile, Ocho champions terroir, the characteristics of the place where its agave crops grow, and prides itself on crafting unique single estate expressions. This focus allows for unique environmental factors of a specific location, such as soil, climate and topography, to influence the flavor, aroma and character of each harvest.

A Bold Menu to Savor

As you sip on your welcome cocktail of Stars in Arandas, a mix of Tequila Ocho Plata and prosecco, the team will be preparing a selection of dishes that lean into vibrant Mexican-inspired flavors.

The first course, Shrimp Ceviche Verde, immediately brings brightness to the meal. With tomatillo, cucumber, serrano chili and avocado crema, it’s fresh and slightly tangy, nicely balanced by crispy tortilla chips. The course is paired with Passion Star, an Ocho reposado cocktail.

Next up is the sweet-and-savory creation, Tostada al Pastor, featuring shredded pork, roasted pineapple and pickled onions. The layered flavors of this second course are matched with the Old Velvet Fig cocktail, made with Añejo tequila, fig and amaro.

The main course brings things back to our steakhouse roots. A signature filet with chimichurri arrives alongside esquites Mexicano and crispy potatoes with chorizo. It’s hearty, flavorful and unmistakably Ruth’s Chris. Instead of a cocktail, this course features a neat pour of Tequila Ocho Extra Añejo, so that guests can experience this rare tequila in its purest form.

A decadent dessert wraps things up with a Churro Cheesecake, complete with a Biscoff crust, cinnamon sugar and coffee caramel sauce.
